Mobility & Chassis

Co-led by Wyatt Weber and Mario Yakicier, the Mobility & Chassis team is desiging, simulating, and manufacturing the rover’s chassis and suspension system while minimizing material waste.

The team's differential bar design has recently been revised to reduce the weight and increase structural integrity, and similar revisions were made to the rover’s chassis, including for easier production with 80/20 aluminum. Additionally, the wheels are currently being revised to allow for the rover's smooth traversal on various grounds.
